I wish the weather wld make its bloody mind up :S I was freezing on the way home today. Bus stations and train stations are such cold, cold places...

I haven't updated in awhile. So a brief overview: Xmas was great. Ate waaaay too much and was like a beached whale. Boxing day was awesome. We got out the kiddy pool, the tunes and the drinks and we had a partay. Was a tonne of fun :D New years, we went 'round Catherines for drinks, then went to Rosemount (by this point i was beyond tipsy) then later on we went to amps. Got home at about 7am and just crashed. The next morning i felt as though a Mac truck had run over my head and as tho there was some kung fu dude, kicking around in my stomache.

I'm off to Melbourne soon. Wheee!! Can't wait. If anyone can recommend and good muso stores and venues, please let me know!!! I'm planning on buying a tonne of cds, band tops, shoes, bags and cloooothes. I want to buy a whole bunch of clothes that are random and offbeat. I think i'm drooling right now.

I have two 21sts and a 20th all on the same night. Do i run around like a headless chook to try and see everyone? Paul's going away soon. Will be sad :( We shall have to organise a farewell party i think. And just before I go, I'd just like to say, that my dude of man is an awesome guy ♥ Everyone seems to be in coupledom at the mo and there is happiness all 'round :)

HELLO!!!

No I'm not dead!! Im still around. Otherwise I'd write in my deadjournal! get it?? dead.. deadjournal.... ahhhh. Sounded good in my head. ANYWAY. So much freakn stuff has happened as of late, which is why I havn't updated in dogs years (thats a long time). Well first off, I have seen a few bands: electric 6, the mess hall, wolfmother x 2, spiderbait, karnivool, kaiser chiefs, oasis and the foo-fighters. Plus local bands of course. I havn't been to amps in aaages. I wonder if there are any 'have you seen this girl?' pictures around the place (picture of me in colourful tights, lace, boots, a drink in both hands and standing on one leg - hobbling of course. I have 2 legs last time i checked).
The boys have moved into their very own house. The huggies have been abandoned and the bibs shld be gone in a few weeks. They are all grown up!! *proud moment*. There house is really nice. We are all spending a lot of time there. Drinking, having partays and listening to good 'ol records.
Work is busy as a bumble be. I'm still learning heaps as i go along which is great. My brain is still being fed large amounts.
Now. Boys. Boys, boys, boys... what are we to do with them?? Line them up under the mistletoe that's what!!
Oh, Daniel is going to an event in melb. and has invited me to go along, free of charge. how totally AWESOME!! Oh, my tummy just grumbled. Hurry up dinner! Oh work has moved locations. It  is really nice and lovley and full of poshness. 
I don't have any plans for new years yet. I hope its something good. Xmas should be good. Lotsa great food. I'm going to jared's work xmas party which shld be good. my work do was pretty funky. Lots of drinking occurred. Lots of bleary eyed and hungover ppl the next day (me included - did i need to say that?).

Bonjour...

And what a weekend it has been. On Saturday it was my Birthday :D It was pretty good day. The night before I went to a house warming party. Was fairly good. On Saturday I went shopping. Bought some clothes and a belt. I also had an iced chocolate and a cookies and cream cheesecake. Orgasmic is the only word I can use to describe it lol. Then that night I went out to dinner with my friends. Had lovely Italian food. I got some great gifts, including watch, earrings, an ipod shuffle!, this gorgeous silver jewellery boz with purple velvet on it, money etc. I was spoilt :) And work bought me a bottle of jack daniel's, flowers and a teddy bear. I felt very loved. After that we went to amps (are you suprised?). We were the last to leave the restaurant. Anyhoo, amps was filled with emo's from the taste of chaos gig. Was a fairly good nite. Had a bit of wine and felt a bit ill. Amps wine didn't agree with my stomache tho. Felt a bit queasy :S On Sunday I went out with the fam for lunch. I had calamari and rocky road ice-cream (separate of course). It was soo nice. Chocolate ice cream with choc chips, marshmallows and turkish delight and chocolate sauce *cravings anyone?*
Unfortunately, today I am off work because I have tonsilitis (again) and a virus on top of that. Gah!! Seems to be one thing after another. I hate being off work. Mainly coz i have to catch up. Keeping on top of things is the way to go.
This w/end is the electrix six gig. I imagine that will be fairly bananas. And it's HALLOWEEN. ooOooo. I dont think i'll even need to wear a costume. Just seeing me first thing in the morning is enough to scare anyone!

Hello, my precious.....

Another weekend over. Any my weekend went a little like this *drumroll*
Friday: We had drinks at work from 3, then went to the Grosvenor afterwards. Was quite good. After that i came home, chowed down some food and got ready to go out. We went to the e&w first where i got to catch up from sam who is back from europe :D Then we went to amps and danced around like ants on hot coal. We were a lil bigger tho. Just....
Saturday: Cleaned the house up a bit. I should add domesticated onto my bacholorette application. Then that night we had ppl over for taz's bday.
Sunday: was taz's actual bday. Her g/f came over and they got all dressed up for the night. While i went to a bbq and some fantastic food. Bloody hell i love food. Mmmmm. Then i came home, jazzed myself up a lil and we went out for dinner with her g/f's. We went to the cas. I lost $ :( both gambling and on drinks. Then we went to the ruby room :S AND we were the first ones there. So i did the most obvious thing. Took off my shoes and danced in the middle of the dancefloor. The world was my oyster lol. The ppl started coming and i was asked to put my shoes on. I guess that's coz they thought the floor wld be too hard on my delicate feet. pfft yeh right. It was a good night all in all and she had a great time. This morning at work was another story tho. Gah, so tired *yawns*

This weekend im thinking of cutting my hair. Im thinking red streaks and a thicker fringe. One that starts further back on my head. Then... it's my bday on saturday. whee!!! im such a kid, but wat the heck!! im hoping it will be all sunshine and kissed and nobody pisses. So charming :P

Comment allez vous? Another weekend gone by. Here is how it panned out:

My Weekend:
Friday night: Went to amps to see Love Like Violence. The Wednesday Society and 11th He Reaches London were particularly good. I had a good night. Caught up with some ppl I hadn't seen in awhile. Then we danced like crazy chickens. No rock lobster tho :( Then tim got all moody and we unfortunately left.
Saturday: I went op shopping and bought this cool leopard print cardy. Then we all went and bought fish n chips and ate it in the park. It was lovely :) The sun was shining the, the grass was green and the ants were biting :S. That night we went around to Andrew's for pre-drinks. The others stayed in for a movie night, but me, Dan, Andrew and Candice went to the casino. We then met up with Alex and Pete. So we went and i won some $$ for Dan. Gahh. Then we went to the ruby room :S It was ok. Then we jetted off to harbourside. For some reason, my boots were really hurting my feet. They literally felt like they were burning. So anyhoo, I arrived home at 5am and crawled into my nice, cosy bed.
Sunday: Got up and went shopping in the city with. I bought a prezzie for Az, some darell lea chocolate, leopard print tights (I am really into leopard prints and tights at the mo), the Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 cd and an Oasis cd. I thought I should refresh myself with Oasis songs for Rock-It. But stupid me picked up the wrong cd! So i'll have to go back and exchange it I think. I also bought a smashing pumpkins badge. Sunday night i slept like a baby. Found out my nan is in hospital tho. Which is not good at all :( I love you heaps.
Today: Went to work and we had a launch meeting for a new technology we are releasing. The day flew by today. Hopefully the week will follow suit! Az's bday bash this w/end. Shld be good. We're having a gals night out. The guys are having a camping trip but I don't think I'll be able to go.

And another w/end has passed us by. After a crazy week at work - and i dont think im exaggerating by saying crazy! - I had a pretty good weekend. Friday was dear claudia's last day :( so we went out for drinks afterwards. We went to the royalw hich is this really classy venue. So big for a place that I didn't know existed! So a group of us went there and got merry. Then we went out for dinner later that night. It was a great evening. It's nice to hang out with different groups of ppl. Diff interests, scenes etc. On Saturday i caught up with a mate i hadn't seen in awhile. We went shopping and went and saw wedding crashers (the movie :P). It was great. Alot funnier than i expected. Saturday night i caught up with some other friends and we went to the casino. Was a good night. We caught up on a lot. I forgot that i really liked Bailey's. I think its coz i just go pubs = beer or bourban. I bought some more tights this weekend. Pink ones this time:

Sunday's nearly over and it's gonna be the beginning of another friggin week. Le' sigh. So what did i get up to this weekend? Well, friday night i decided to stay home and watch the derby. Faaaantastic game :D. It felt a bit weird not going out, but i got to catch up on some sleep. On Saturday, me and az ventured out to the galleria. Was a great day. I love hanging out with her ♥ The day started off slow for buying stuff. But then i wanted to buy everything i saw. Sometimes i see clothes or shoes that are just ugly, which makes them so great. If that makes any sense? All those accessory places are always overcrowded and ppl just stand in the middle of the aisles. That shits me. Anyhoo, I bought: a kaki skirt that has a thick belt with it. I'll have to get sum of those 3/4 tights to go underneath it; a black vintage looking top. Had beads and little chains attached to it. Cant wait to add more badges etc to it; some dark skinny jeans. I was looking at getting some levi's which were $149. I got these on special for $14.90. yes that's right. $14.90. And they're fantastic. I love getting things on special. I feel like i've achieved something lol .Anyway moving on, i got this cute summer top. Its white and the straps are tie up on either shoulder and the front is embroidered with flowers 60's style. Kinda like the woodstock styled hippy tops. Im not very good at describing am i? lol. Umm a leopard print waist band. I'm still kicking myself over forgetting to go back and get those bright blue tights. Oh and a dark purple jacket. ou can't have enough jackets. I wish i had have got that vest aswell. You know those checked ones? It was a chocolate brown one with white and dark blue patterns. Sounds repulsive hey? Ohhh and went back to get this box, but the store had sut. It was wooden and had a silver celtic star on it. You slide this thin wooden stick from the front and it opens up. It was really cute. I'll have to go back and get it.

That night we went to Base for Lee's going away party. That was pretty cool. Had a few cocktails and me and az decided to dress up in our dresses and put hair up and do the whole earings thing etc - photo's to be developed soon. It was quite packed out. Got an unexpected call from someone wanting to catch up. Then we headed off to amps. It was so freaking cold. I thought i lost one of my earings but found it when i was at amps. I find that wearing earings and heels is the difference between being dressed up or not. Anyway, got to amps. Was pretty packed out. Got there and wished i was wearing all of my alt gear. I felt a bit like a hypocrite lol. Spoke to a few ppl i hadnt seen in ages. Got some interesting goss from some of these ppl. Apparently, one of my mates has been going around saying that i love him and how much i want a r/ship with him. I have no idea what he's going on about. He wishes! lol. Danced for a bit. Then my throat started to fuck up, so i decided off. Got home bout 4 and slept like a baby. Got woken up by my sister and one of her friends giggling away. But her friend brought us some chocolate hedgehogs. How nice is that? Anyway, I've already eaten them *cough* pig *cough*

Hullo,

How are we all today? I'm off sick again today. Tonsilitis. Bleh. I've never had more sick days this year, than in the past 3 years collectively. So i stayed home today and I was bored. I slept for a bit, watched a dvd, checked my emails and then there was nothing else to do! I thought of painting my nails dark red. But the thought of the smell put me off. I think i'm going to cut my fringe uber short after i finish this tho.

I have realised that i like most things french. I love the language, the food, the clothes, the perfumes, the movies, the accent. I need to get my ass to europe. There is so much to be explored. It just seems like another world. I can't wait to go :).

In other news, i now have my rock-it ticket. I will be seeing oasis, foo-fighters, kaiser chiefs and many more. I can't believe i'm seeing Mr Dave Grohl. The voice of the foo's and part of the legend that is/was nirvana. I will now have seen the 4 bands that I have always wanted to see live (or parts of).

Hullo Strangers,

It has been awhile since I have last written. Have you missed me? Awww ur too kind :P. I don't think i'll be able to update everything coz alot has happened and I can't really remember it all either!

- I went to my primary school reunion. Interesting time... soo luvly to be with the gals again. It was as if we had never been apart! We went out afterward and ran amuck. You have no idea... lol
- Works been busy. New possie. This means that im tired mid week ALL the time. Usually i was pumped for going out wed and thurs nights. Now I just feel like sitting in front of the telly and eating choccie. A bad habit to get into!
- I went to a few clubs. Yes that's write CLUBS. Not the usual smokey alt pubs that Im usually at. And i did have a good time. It's amazing how diff clubbing ppl and pub ppl are. yadda yadda im i cant be bothered backing my story up at the mo. Im le tired.

You know wat, i start writing in here with all these things to talk about. But i get distracted by msn and sites etc and I cant be bothered writing in here. How lazy is that?

On another note - which may sound slightly geeky - but i read the latest harry potter book. bloody hell. it was fantastic

And so do I! It was only the other day that I was talking about how the smashing pumpkins were the last ppl on my 'must see' list. This would be a dream come true. Billlllllyyyyyy plz reunite!! Hopefully all the members will agree. Even if Melissa were to re-join that'd be cool. But D'arcy wld be ultimate. By reunite, I hope he means TOUR. And AUSTRALIA. I dont care where abouts in aus, I will fly there. To see smashing pumpkins play would be indescribable. To see and hear them play disarm, i dont think i wld be able to cope. I hope something good does eventuate from this. I hope to see the heading: SMASHING PUMPKINS REUNITED TOUR - AUSTRALIA (insert Upcoming Date). Le sigh. If i see them, I wld have seen my fav 3 bands of all time. I never thought I'd ever see SP. Im so friggin excited. Don't let me down Billy!!!!! WE &hearts YOU!!!!

And another weekend is nearly over.. It hasn't been too bad. Thursday night i went to the Foundry. Was bloody cold but I had a good time. Saw a shitload of ppl i hadn't seen i aaages. So it was a big catch up sesh :) Friday I was tired all day. I just wanted the work day to end. And then it did and i was thankful it was the weekend. That night we went to the rosemount to see Karnivool. We got there and Tim had forgotten his ID so he wldn't go in. That was a huge bummer. So me, dan and alex still went to see Karnivool and the other guys went to the moon (not the actual moon :P so lame lol). Karnivool were excellent. I had so much fun. I really shld go and get their cd. Saturday we went to amps. Was a pretty good night. Damn confusing guy wise, but hey, what's new? lol. I felt sorry for Paul, he had to go back to NSW today. He hates saying goodbye to us and we hate seeing him go. Az is going away for the next fortnight aswell. Gahh!! I can see we will be sending lots of emails back and forth. It will be weird not seeing her for that long :( Lots of catching up will have to be done. Today us gals went out for ice cream and just a general gossip session. Always fun :) Ah how i luv the girls ♥

This week I don't really know what i'll be doing work wise. I hope it's something enjoyable. So many re-arrangements have been going on. This weekend I have a 21st. Horror theme. So i dont know what to go as. I was thinking of going as either goth alice in wonderland or goth red riding - with all the slashes against my face etc. Then another 21st the following weekend. It's like when i was 18. Every weekend was an 18th party. Well im not 21 til next year so i have a bit of planning to go before i get to mine. The Taste of Chaos gig is on my bday this year. I really want to go, but my mates aren't really into the bands. I know i cld go with other ppl, but its nice spending ur bday with mates. I'll see how i go :S Nothing else to report. I cld go into analysing things but i honestly can't be bothered and i dont think anyone cld be bothered reading it either.

So who wants to hear bout my weekend? Ok, ok, all put your hands down. It all began on a friday night....
Went out for drinks on friday night. Was a fairly good night. I can't really remember what happened. I do remember some dude trying to chat me and az up, but as soon as the guys came back he cldn't get out of the chair quick enough.
Saturday... i think i was productive. I slept in for a little bit. Oh i watched the footy and cleaned my room. Ok, so not very productve. Saturday night went to a 21st in freo. Was ok but then they wanted to line up behind 5 million ppl to get into metros. Nooo thanks. So we catch up with mel and dean who r back from kalgoorlie for the weekend. Ahhh how i miss hanging out with her. So we met up, i finish my pint, and its off to the casino. We meet up with some other mates and it was on. The drinks were going down faster that you could say your name. I remember laughing on the floor. I remember talking about some weird shit in the toilets, then knocking on this gals toilet door, apologising because i didn't realise there was anyone in there. And that's about all that I remember hehe. Oh it was so much fun. Then we decided to get maccas on the way home. We order, she hands us our meals, and walks away. Without us paying. I wish i had of got an upgrade. So i walk through the door round 5ish and try to be as quiet as i can. Of course i sound like an elephant stampeding through the house.
Sunday, i sleep in because i have a headache. Then i pack my stuff, meet with Dan, and we head off to Az's place in Mandurah. We listen to some good tunes and eventually arrive at out destination. The guys are looking fairly chuffed and az looks relieved that i have arrived. So us gals sit round gasbagging as usual. How the time passed. The guys were jamming and recording and writing. It was fairly laid back, but so damn cold there *thank u knee hi socks. stripy makes them extra warmer :)* So im thinking we shld leave early morning monday. Nope. The guys are still jamming and what not. So we leave about 5:30. It's pissing down with rain. Then we get a call within 3 minutes of leaving the house. I head back to the house where Pete is sitting in the car. He declares that he has a flat tyre. And then the drama starts. Swapping of tyres, going to servos, pumping air. All while it was pissing down and us gals were looking out our foggy windows at them. They were soggy and wet, but they looked like men from the movies. Lifting, sweeping back their wet hair with their tshirts stuck to their backs. Us gals were proud. I felt like i was writing a script then lol. Anyhoo, an hr and a half later i was home. Nice warm bed with nice hot food. Ahhh the life. Anyhoo, was a great w/end. For those of u who have read this afr. I applaud you :D

So last night i went to the Hanson concert. Yes that's right, HANSON. And it was the best fucking night ever (alongside placebo). Honestly, i can't believe how excited i was. When i was 12, i was such a fan. I think i'd worn the cd's out, i purchased prac ever mag that they were in and was convinced that i was going to marry taylor lol. I swore that if Hanson were to ever come here, i wld go. Then that wonderful day where i purchased my ticket, i finally realised that my childhood dream wld be fulfilled.... so dramatic.... lol

So i finish work and go straight to the gig. I am so excited in the car that i cant even finish my dinner. And anyone who knows me well, knows how much i love my food. So we get there bout 5:30. Eat, wait around. Realise were standing in the wrong line then go inside and find that were second in line lol. So we go and i fiddle with my camera which decides to fuck up. I'm seriously pissed off anf thinking its gonna ruin my night. Anyhoo, i decide to take pics and see how they turn out later.

The moment arrives when Hanson arrive on stage. I don't believe it, i can't believe it. The smallish crowd goes wild and i think to myself that hanson may be disappointed by the crowd size anfd it may be a dreary show. The total opposite. I was totally blown away. When a minute without u came on, i literally felt my eyes well up. So friggin sad, but had to wait so friggin long. It was fantastic. Better than cd, better than ever. They had so much fun, i had so much fun. They played all the songs i wanted to hear esp Penny and me, if only, wheres the love and of course mmbop. It was so great. I had so much fun. I can't explain it. I sound like such a fangirl, but man, whoah...

I was so impressed with Isaac. His voice is fantastic. I love how they're rock now. His voice, was just *hearts*. They played a bit of ac/dc, jimi hendrix and u2. I was sitting up there and isaac turns to look at the stand, im singing along. Then he looks back and just stares and im like omg... he's looking at me... So i grin like a crazy fool, but he smiles and im like :O then the girl next to me turns to look at me and so does my mum (yes my MUM. such a legend. She came with me when no other ppl wld coz hanson aren't 'cool').And i realise that yes, indeed, isaac did smile at me. He knows who i am. That my face exists. This was huge. EVen tho tay was my fav, but gah all so lovely. And zac, so sweet behind the drums. I'm so sappy now, but give me a break! I had to wait freakn years!!

I'm so glad that i saw them now. If i had have seen them when i was 12, it wld have been a screaming mass, i porb wld have hyperventilated (like one girl who had to be escorted out) and i wldn't have appreciated it like i do. I get home and my pics did turn out :D to be posted. Watch this space.. All in all, a fantastic night that i can't believe happened.
